I went over to a friend's house yesterday and we played Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask on his Wii. Oh my gosh, my childhood <3
But seriously, I remember the long hours I spent trying to rescue Zelda in Ocarina Of Time, and even though I never got to finish Majora's Mask before my copy of the game disappeared from existence (Parents -.-) I still remember how much fun it was to play. I think out of all the N64 games, Zelda and Star Fox 64 left the greatest impact on me. I played those cartridges till I could play them no more...
Oh sweet nostalgia. Don't even get me started on my love for 8-bit gaming...
With memories of my childhood swarming me, I couldn't help but pull out the Gamecube and start playing. Why did I ever stop playing these games...? If only my older brother had left behind the N64 when he moved out. I'm also looking for the chords to my PS2 so I can play all of the games that got me into sketching and creating my own fantasy characters. Games like Shadow Of the Colossus, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy 7... Gotta love it.
To think I was only seven when I played the first Halo, as well. Wow, gotta love being a 90's kid. Twas' the better days. XD
Anyways, as you can probably tell my now I'm a geek. Haha I love video games and all things fantasy and sci-fi... it makes life so much more entertaining to nerd-out every once and a while XD
But ya, because of recently playing Majora's Mask I've been looking into buying a copy of the Legend Of Zelda Collector's Edition game, but man... The price on this thing has gone up O.O I wish my parents had never gotten rid of the original copy I got with my Gamecube... Oh well.
I should probably pause for a moment. There should probably be something more... substantial to this post, rather than me just rambling about my childhood and video games.
HOLY CRAP GOOD OLD FASHIONED BOSS BATTLE FTW!
Sorry. Had a moment. My little brother is playing the Sonic Mega Collection... Another piece of my childhood.
Excuse me while I join in playing with him. I'll post again later, hopefully something that has a little more to do with helping you get to know me :P
