For A Friend

So, I saw this posted by a friend on Facebook. I know the girl in this video personally, and I've just got to say she is amazing... This video was recorded at an arts festival, which was held by a local church, and even if you aren't into religion I think you'll enjoy this video. The girl, Melissa, is a cancer survivor who lost her leg in September. She had cancer when she was younger, and it ended up coming back in 2011. Its a really sad story, but despite the hard circumstances she was able to do this:

If you want the link, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ_j0WMcPAk

Please enjoy! The entire story of this girl is really amazing and inspiring, and I couldn't resist posting it. She is a fantastic person, I'm lucky to know her.

Anyways, I'm gonna go now. I hope you liked the video.

I Attract The Craziest People

So, its been some time since I updated. Guess what day tomorrow is!

Yep, it's singles awareness day! I keep seeing tons of commercials about Valentines Day, so I though "Hey, why not?" and added a little shout out to the holiday that all single people dislike.

It's never any fun unless you have someone to swoon, you know what I mean? My plans for valentine will probably consist of school work, practicing my script for the theater program I'm a part of, listening to romantic music all day and then maybe taking my best friend on a date to get our minds off our forever alone status. Haha... but hey that still sounds like an awesome day to me.

You wanna know what doesn't sound awesome? Stalkers. They seriously creep me out. No, not the creatures from Half Life 2, the actual real life girl that you met at a friend's party who you went out with for a weak before you realized she was a weirdo, and now she wants you back. Ya, that kind of stalker. I guess everyone has at least one person who gives them creepy unwanted attention, but I find that I get a lot of creepy people following me around like that... What about me attracts that kind of attention? XD

In other news, I challenged my cousin to Super Smash Bros Melee. Yep, pretty unimportant to the uninformed reader, but, as it turns out, he is one of the top 5 Brawl Competitors in our state and used to be as  awesome at Melee as he is now at Brawl. So, I'm either going to get a major butt kicking or I'm going to give him a run for his money. I'm hoping that since he hasn't played in a while, I'll have an advantage... but who knows. Haha it really isn't that big of a deal if I lose, but I really want to falcon punch his ego if I can.

That was really random, but ya. <--- Is such a nerd.

In blogger news, so many stories have hit endgame. It's weird. Kinda like when your favorite TV show reaches the series finale, it kind of leaves you feeling sad for a little while. BUT to counter the sad feelings, I've  been looking into other blogs and I think I may have found the best troll blogs on the internet. I'll put some links up later. They're pretty ridiculous, but I absolutely love reading them.

Tacos make me feel so fat sometimes. There are probably the only food that I can eat without ever wanting to stop. So freaking good.

Anyways, I bet you're not wondering what I did today! So, I won't go into it. I'll update again soon :D

That Kid In Green

I went over to a friend's house yesterday and we played Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask on his Wii. Oh my gosh, my childhood <3

But seriously, I remember the long hours I spent trying to rescue Zelda in Ocarina Of Time, and even though I never got to finish Majora's Mask before my copy of the game disappeared from existence (Parents -.-) I still remember how much fun it was to play. I think out of all the N64 games, Zelda and Star Fox 64 left the greatest impact on me. I played those cartridges till I could play them no more...

Oh sweet nostalgia. Don't even get me started on my love for 8-bit gaming...

With memories of my childhood swarming me, I couldn't help but pull out the Gamecube and start playing. Why did I ever stop playing these games...? If only my older brother had left behind the N64 when he moved out. I'm also looking for the chords to my PS2 so I can play all of the games that got me into sketching and creating my own fantasy characters. Games like Shadow Of the Colossus, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy 7... Gotta love it.

To think I was only seven when I played the first Halo, as well. Wow, gotta love being a 90's kid. Twas' the better days. XD

Anyways, as you can probably tell my now I'm a geek. Haha I love video games and all things fantasy and sci-fi... it makes life so much more entertaining to nerd-out every once and a while XD

But ya, because of recently playing Majora's Mask I've been looking into buying a copy of the Legend Of Zelda Collector's Edition game, but man... The price on this thing has gone up O.O I wish my parents had never gotten rid of the original copy I got with my Gamecube... Oh well.

I should probably pause for a moment. There should probably be something more... substantial to this post, rather than me just rambling about my childhood and video games.

HOLY CRAP GOOD OLD FASHIONED BOSS BATTLE FTW!

Sorry. Had a moment. My little brother is playing the Sonic Mega Collection... Another piece of my childhood.

Excuse me while I join in playing with him. I'll post again later, hopefully something that has a little more to do with helping you get to know me :P
